Many people are annoyed about their gums visually occupying more space in the oral cavity than teeth. Others have come to terms with their predisposition and give a full smile one way or another.

Today’s medicine is able to help those grappling with large gums. In an interview with The New York Times, cosmetic dentist Stan Heifetz mentioned that the cause is genetics.
